Homer is a remarkable guy! When he arrived at the Department of Animal Services he had several scabs and dried wounds on his hind leg, and he wasn't using it. It is suspected that his leg was trapped or caught in something. Homer had to undergo a series of surgeries and months of strict cage confinement to save his leg. Due to the nature of his injury, he had to have his joints fused together, so he's got a little hitch in his getalong. Don't let his limp fool you though, Homer runs and climbs and jumps and he manages just fine! Homer has maintained his sunny disposition through his ordeal and he's now ready for his forever home! Homer is a low key, mellow guy who gets along with everyone. He's just a big love bug who wants nothing more than to spend all of his time with you. Homer is the kitty that will follow you around, from room to room, just hoping for some attention and love (he really loves belly rubs!) If you're ready to open your heart and home to this special kitty, Homer is ready to begin a new odessey with you! To meet Homer, please call (858) 205-9973.
