MIRABELLE

Little Mirabelle was brought into the Central Shelter by a Patrol Officer. The Shelter received a tip from a good Samaritan about an injured stray cat. When the Patrol officer arrived at the location the caller gave, she found a plastic cat carrier on the side of the road with a note taped to the top. The note read, "Free, can't afford cat anymore". When the Patrol officer peered into the carrier she saw a little white cat with a large wound that was across her shoulders and down her back.

Back at the shelter the stray cat, now named Mirabelle, was examined by veterinary staff. They believed she was a victim of abuse since she had what looked to be a chemical burn. Never once did this sweet girl object to any treatment or exams of the helpful staff at the shelter. She was only too happy to purr and ask for affection.

Mirabelle is healing well and her friendly spirit is unhurt, she remains a lovable cat looking for a forever home.
